OWNERSHIP

WHO OWNS THE ARTWORK?

All artwork is owned by the artist, Clementina di Monte Rubello, unless differently stated for special projects such as logos, emblems and monograms. These are the only artworks that are shared with the client in high resolution, which allows him/her to use the file unlimitedly. For any special requests of passing complete ownership and right of the commissioned artwork, please enquire with us directly.

Other special project which are open for a discussion on the ownership rights are licensing and/or publishing projects. Please contact us to discuss terms and pricing.

ORDERS

WHAT IF I NEED MORE THAN YOUR MAXIMUM QUANTITY AVAILABLE?

Please email us at info@clementinasketchbook.com if you’d like to order a higher quantity. Larger orders are absolutely possible, but they need to be arranged directly with us.

WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY IMPORT FEES?

UK orders: No import fees apply.
EU orders: Orders shipped from the UK to the EU may be subject to import duties, VAT, or customs fees, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
USA orders: Due to recent tariff changes, any applicable import fees are now calculated and charged directly at checkout. This way, you won’t face unexpected charges on delivery.
Rest of the world: For all other international orders, the buyer is responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees required by their country. These charges vary depending on local regulations, item type, price, weight, and dimensions.

BESPOKE AND SEMI BESPOKE ORDERS

WHAT ARE BESPOKE ORDERS?

Bespoke orders are exactly that…they are custom, and therefore, you can order any quantity you require, even if it’s only 10! Note though that the cost per card will be higher as quantities go lower, so it is not ‘economical’ to order bespoke cards in low quantities.
Returns are not permitted on bespoke orders, although we make sure you approve each step of the design process before going ahead. Clementina first sketches her ideas and edits them until you are happy with the design. After that, the watercolour phase will allow for two rounds of small digital edits. Any changes of design after having approved the sketches, will be quoted and invoiced at 70GBP per hour.

WHAT ARE SEMI BESPOKE ORDERS?

Semi-bespoke orders are created using our extensive library of elements, from which clients can choose, along with the option to select preferred fonts, colours, frames, and envelopes. They are printed as custom, so you can order any quantity, even as few as 10! Note that the cost per card is higher for smaller quantities, so low-quantity orders may not be the most economical.
Returns are not permitted on semi-bespoke orders, but we make sure you approve each step of the design process before we print. The design phase allows forthree rounds of small digital edits, and any changes after that will be quoted and invoiced at£70 per hour.

CAN I REQUEST A RUSH ORDER?

Yes! Rush orders are strictly subject to our availability and there will be a rush fee pf 50% of the printing/production price added to the cost of your order. Please note this when you contact us about a bespoke order and we will try to work within your time frame.

WHOLESALE

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE PRICING TO BUSINESSES?

RETURNS

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

If your order has not yet shipped, we can cancel your Orders can only be cancelled if you contact us very soon after placing your order and before the print file has been sent to our printer. Once printing has begun, we are unable to stop or refund your order.
If you would like to request a cancellation, please email info@clementinasketchbook.com right away with your order number, and we’ll let you know if cancellation is still possible.order and provide you with a full refund. Please submit a cancellation request email to info@clementinasketchboook.com as soon as possible. If your order ships prior to cancellation, you can return the unused, unopened and undamaged items within 14 business days for a full refund. We reserve the right to determine whether items have been opened, damaged, used or washed when we receive your return.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Because all of our products are made to order using print-on-demand, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once an item has been printed and shipped. Please double-check your order carefully before placing it.
If your item arrives damaged in transitor with a printing/production error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@clementinasketchbook.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Please note: printing errors do not include typos, spelling mistakes, or other design issues that were present in the artwork file approved by the client. Responsibility for approving artwork before printing lies with the client.

PRINTING

CAN I PRINT MY STATIONERY DESIGNS MYSELF?

No, we only print in-house, which enables us to ensure the quality and finesse of every piece we have created for you.

WILL ALL OF MY STATIONERY LOOK THE SAME?

We aim to make your stationery as consistent as possible. However, because printing is a handcrafted process, slight variations may occur due to factors like humidity, temperature, or the nature of watercolour and print-on-demand production. All items undergo strict quality control, so any differences are minor and part of the charm of bespoke stationery.

I RAN OUT OF MY PERSONAL STATIONERY: CAN I RE-PRINT?

Yes! You can always reprint any designs we created for you (semi-bespoke or bespoke) at the printing cost only.
